Surgeons Helping Surgeons
Welcome to the Indiana Chapter of the American College of Surgeons
The best medical care providers are the ones who connect with colleagues and other professionals to discuss the latest innovations and advances in their field. Providing and receiving guidance to other surgeons throughout the state and country is important to the continued success of our country’s medical community. That is why it’s the right time to join the Indiana Chapter of the American College of Surgeons. We bring together medical professionals for the advancement of surgical care in Indiana.

The Indiana Physician Coalition Scope of Practice Partnership (SOPP) was formed in 2020 with a mssion to protect patients from harm, increase access to quality care, and to help control health care spending. To be successful, the SOPP seeks to stop "scope creep" by advanced practitioners who seek greater autonomy to work without physician involvement.
