Governors at Large
2020-2021
The Indiana Chapter has two Governors that serve as our representatives to the Board of Governors at the ACS. They are very interested in hearing members concerns, questions and suggestions. They also keep the Chapter informed with reports and updates about state and national issues.
Don Selzer MD, FACS
Governor of the Copllege
Don Selzer is an Associate Professor and Chief of the Division of General Surgery at the Indiana University School of Medicine. He received his medical dgree from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health and completed his residency training at the Indiana University School of Medicine. Dr Selzer has been in practice more than 20 years and his clinical interests include the Linx reflux management procedure and minimally invasive surgery of the esophagus and stomach. He specializes in bariatric surgery at IU North Hospital.
Dr Selzer is a Past-President of the Chapter and currently serves as Chair of the Chapter Advocacy Committee.
Stephen Bodney MD, FACS
Governor of the College
Stephen Bodney is a member of General Surgery Associates of Harrison County in Corydon. He earned his medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis and completed residency and internship at William Beaumont Army Medical Center, El Paso, TX.
Dr Bodney is a Past-President of the Chapter and currently serves as Chair of the Chapter By-Laws Committee.
